The Project
The Piddle Paddle Tours brochure was an assignment for my coursework at Southern New Hampshire University. It involved designing a brochure for the fictional Piddle Paddle tours boat tour company. The goal was to advertise their different tours in a fun and engaging way to a target audience of young families with children and retired adults.
Design Process
All of the required copy, logo, and images (aside from the illustrated boat) were provided as part of the course work for this assignment. My job was to design the layout, typography, design elements, and color palette. To create a cohesive palette, I worked to balance the colors used in the logo with the colors in the images. I also used the typefaces from the logo to create continuity. I added wave elements as a fun way to guide the eye across the page and tie the inside and outside of the brochure together.
