
The Project
The Focus 05 Downtown project was an assignment for my coursework at Southern New Hampshire University. It involved designing subway advertisements for the fictional New York based restaurant “Focus 05 Downtown”. The target audience was people from the Millennial generation. The design prompt emphasized creating images that highlighted technology use, a social environment, high-end food, bright colors, and minimalist sans-serif typefaces.


Design Process
The design process for this project included researching the attributes of the target audience, creating a color palette from a chart of colors that were provided, choosing images and fonts, and creating a mind map to generate and organize my thoughts and ideas. I then created several digital mockups, which were submitted for feedback and revised.
